A Night with "Magic Mike."

So I don't know if you've heard, but there's this little, itty-bitty movie hitting theatres this weekend. It's pretty quiet, so it's in very few theatres throughout the country. It's totally possible that you wouldn't have even heard of it at all.
But I don't want you to miss out, so let me give you a heads-up in cookie form. Really, you could probably just eat cookies & skip the movie, but I suggest sneaking cookies into the theatre & giving the movie a go anyway. Ya know, just in case. If you find yourself bored or somethin'. Perhaps if it's a rainy day, maybe?
OR IF YOU NEED A ROCKIN' GIRLS' NIGHT!!! ;-)
I could give you a synopsis, but IMDB.com has already done that. And, if you have a television at all, I'm sure you've already heard or seen a mention of "Magic Mike." And if you know anything about the movie, then you know to expect some slightly naughty cookies!
But I kept everything under clothes, see? You might spy some "hints" here and there, but everything is definitely covered.
Man, this cookie is "happy" to see all of you! ;-)
Oh, such a hard life, eh?
There are some SERIOUS hotties in this flick. I'm sure you're all flocking to the theatres to learn more about custom furniture-building, but here's a tip from me: Take a moment - just a second or two - and turn your eyes from the spectacular tables & chairs. Have some respect for the people talking, and at least attempt to remember their names.
Like Matt Bomer, for example. *swoon*
And these two guys are lesser known, but still worth a glance or three, in my opinion. ;-)
If you're not a drinker, you might want to turn your eyes from time-to-time. There's quite a few "six-packs" in the film.
But the movie can be good for you. It's potassium-rich, so you're set for the weekend. (Those ARE called "banana thongs," right?!)
And wow, but doesn't Matthew McConaughhottie just get better & better looking?!
He wears a dapper vest & he looks DARN TOOTIN' in it. ;-) (He has hair too, but I just kept all the guys bald for ease.)
Every time I see the trailer, I have Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" stuck in my head for the next hour. This isn't a bad thing, by the way.
And "you don't want to know what [they] have to do for $20's," but I made a few bills anyway. It's not hopeless, I swear!
So yeah, if this little flick HAPPENS to come near you, and if you HAPPEN to be with some girlfriends, and y'all HAPPEN to have nothing to do, well...
I know of a good way to kill two hours. I'm just sayin'. ;-)
I went to the 10pm Friday night show myself, and I took three dozen of these cookies with me. After giving out four to my friends, I gave the rest to the theatre staff. (I figured they needed a pick-me-up after dealing with all the crazy women!) The assistant manager seemed absolutely shocked when I dropped off a big box of cookies! Afterwards, however, SHE surprised ME! She came out & handed me four free movie tickets, plus the theatre comped my popcorn & drink, too! Wasn't that so sweet?!

Cookies of true artistry. ;D
Seriously though, I hadn't planned on seeing this film, but if Matt Bomer's going to be in it.... sooo tempting. *GRIN*
(excellent icon, btw)
(And I would totally lick the frosting off Matt Bomer. Erm, the cookie, I mean. Obviously.)
And I love stories like that - keep paying it forward :)
I hope things are going better for you!
(i'm going to visit a friend of mine this coming week, and as soon as i found out when magic mike opened i told her "you know that opens the weekend before i visit, right? guess what we're going to do!" we will not however have cookies like yours.)

And omg, your cookies look delicious~
