So i made the pretzel bites that someone posted on here and they were AMAZING!
I was thinking I would like to make a sweet version too.. But not quite sure how to go about it. I could put chocolate chips/peanut butter chips/butterscotch chips/cinnamon/apple chunks/whatever tickles your fancy in the dough, and then dust them with icing sugar or other donut like toppings. BUT my question is, should  I add more sugar to the recipe to make the actual pretzel dough sweeter as well? At the moment the recipe has 1 tablespoon of sugar in it and 4 1/2 cups of flour, so should I double or triple the sugar?
What would you do if you were going to make a sweet pretzel?
