'Snickers' Blondie Pie

Chocolate layer

Heat 100ml double cream until just at the point of boiling and remove from the heat then stir in 100g 70% cocoa solids chocolate, chopped. Put aside to cool.

Caramel Layer

150g caster augar - plus another 150g soft brown or muscovado
75g unsalted butter
200ml single or double cream, clotted cream, or crème fraîche
75ml golden or corn syrup
1/4 tsp salt

Stir the sugar into the golden syrup and put over low heat without stirring until it forms a light brown caramel. Take off the heat and whisk in the butter ad half of the cream. Return to the low heat and stire through the remaining cream and salt. Put aside to cool.
Peanut Butter Blondie

125 g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
100 g margarine
150 g crunchy peanut butter
175 g light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract

Cream margarine, peanut butter and sugar, then stir in the eggs one at a time with the vanilla before sifting in baking powder and flour.

Pour 3/4 of the mixture into a lined tin and bake for 20 mins at 170

Remove from over and add a layer of chocolate, a layer of caramel and cover with the final 1/4 of the brownie mixture. Crush some peanuts and cover with icing sugar and sprinkle this over the top.

Return to oven for 15mins.

I let this through because the content is all here, but you may want to edit your coding so it says lj-cut text= etc. The missing word has caused your coding to break.

I've tried to edit it, but I've made it worse. Sorry to bug your with my tech problems, btu have you any idea what I've done wrong?

Are you using rich text mode? Because the code you have there looks right. But it needs to be entered in HTML mode to work. If you're in rich text mode, you can highlight the portion you want to place under a cut and click the LJ cut button in the toolbar at the top and it will do it for you.
